Coming Attractions

These are the movies that I think will be worth watching.

Many of them won't be out for some time but I think its best to always be prepared.

Click on the titles to watch the trailers.

Dates and times are all up to you.

Mr WoodCock.

The title has the word Cock in it.

You know the writing is going to be superb throughout this comedy.

Something tells me Billy Bob hasn’t acted in years.

I think he just plays himself.

I’d like to go out drinking with Billy Bob.

I am almost certain we would end up drinking Bourbon on the back of his pickup listening to Hank Williams with a couple toothless girls in daisy dukes.

The Good Shepherd

Looks like the Director of the Good Sheppard Bobby De Niro decided to call everyone on his rolodex to be in this movie.

The movie’s cast reads like a who’s who of Hollywood and the last time De Niro got behind the Camera he made A Bronx tale.

The script was written by Eric Roth, the man behind Forest Gump and most recently Munich.

The Ground Truth

Focus features proudly presents.

Whenever I read that before a movie I am reassured the movie is going to be great.

Kind of like Miramax before Disney ate it up and turned it into crap.

Children of Men

In the future women can’t get pregnant.

Sounds like a bright future to me.

Children of Men, is Direct by Alfonso Cuaron.

He is the reason why I have seen one Harry Potter movie in my 24 years on this earth.

I would watch a snuff film if this man directed it.

The Prestige

First Christopher Nolan redefined storytelling with his backwards storytelling in Memento.

Then he rescued Batman from years of bad gay jokes and even worse acting.

Now he is playing with magic.

I was angry that Nolan was not getting back to work on a new Batman movie right after Batman Begins.

After I saw the trailer to the Prestige I think I can wait another year for the Dark Knight.

Babel

Babel is the Hebrew word for the city of Babylon where the tower of Babylon was said to have been built.

The Tower of Babel was built by mankind when they were united and homogenous.

Everyone spoke the same language and were determined to reach the heavens through their architectural wonder.

God, who decided these men were evil decided to destroy the tower and spread man kind throughout the earth all while changing everyone’s ability to communicate with each other and understand one another.

Good plan.

Babel stars Brad Pitt, Gael Bernal Garcia

and Cate Blanchette

Bable is Directed by Alejandro Gonzales Iñarritu

Borat: Cultural Learning’s of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Reasons as to why this movie is going to be great.

The President of the United States had a meeting with the actual President of Kazakhstan over this movie.

It directed by Larry Charles who has been associated with Television shows such as Seinfeld, The Tick, Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

And well most importantly because the nation of Kazakhstan apparently treats its women like
cattle.

A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints

Coming of age story set in New York.

Yes I know it has been tirelessly been over done.

But watch this anyways.

Does anyone else think Rosario Dawson is one of those actresses’s who looks incredibly hot in some movies and completely dirty in others?

Jesus Camp

I enjoy watching Documentaries with disturbing subject matter.

There is something about a room full of little kids screaming at the top of their lungs that they are Soldiers of God that makes me want to see this movie today.

Once this movie comes out on Dvd I am sure it will make for a great drinking game.

Little Children

From the acclaimed Director of In the Bedroom comes Little Children.

The trailer starts off slow but it insinuates the fact that there is going to be nudity throughout the film.

Marital Infidelity, nudity, and trains.

Sounds like a great movie to me.

Stranger than Fiction

I couldn’t decide whether to see this movie before I saw the Number 23 staring Jim Carrey. You see the Number 23 and Stranger than fiction have very similar plots and story lines and for some reason I told myself that I would only see one of them. This basically is going to be a fight to the death between Jim Carrey and Will Ferrell and the arena will be the battle dome that is located in my head.

Vs.
