Arrested Development Now Online

MSN.Com is streaming episodes of Arrested Development for free.

In the future T.V. will be obsolete and the computer will be the only box we stare at.

I really don't understand why this show was never a hit. It was consistently funny and both the premise and the characters were original and entertaining.

A little part of me died when I saw Jeffrey Tambor on his new NBC show this year.

I am glad that show got cancelled.

More Movie Trailers!! Part 2.

David Fincher hasn't made a movie since 2002 with Panic Room and that wasn't much of a movie. He returns after a 4 year hiatus where he spent most of his days sitting in his basement blogging about the weather.

I think he kind of cracked.

The trailer does look awesome and I am excited to see this movie. Unfortunately, Warner Brothers and Paramount, the two studios who are releasing this film have already given this movie the kiss of death. Zodiac's release date has already been pushed back twice and that can only mean one thing.

The pessimist in me says that it sucks.
The optimist in me says that maybe the film was too dark and twisted and needed to be cleaned up.

I tend to listen to my pessimist side.

After watching the trailer to this movie I looked up the side effects to Lexapro, a commonly prescribed anti-depression medication. The Side effects include but not limited to dizziness, insomnia, diarrhea, and impotence.

Nowhere does it mention anything about super powers unless you can count spewing countless amounts of liquids from either ends of your body a super power.

Special takes the concept of the super hero initiation story and adds a twist.

Usually, when a super hero comes to the realization that he or she has super power they always seem to go through a period of denial. They sometimes believe that the powers are all in their head and the possibility that they are going crazy always enters their mind.

In Special, the main character is involved in a drug study where he believes the side effects are super powers and decides that he needs to put them to good use.

I asked a friend of mine who is a doctor if he has ever heard of such a medication. He said yes Viagra.

I have clever friends.

By no means would I consider myself to be knowledgeable about the art world. If forced I think I could only name 4 or 5 artist and they would usually be one that have had movies made about their lives. However, I really do like Andy Warhol’s art not because it is trendy or even interesting but only because he never lied to his audience. He told them he made art for the money and the fame. My favorite Warholian quote is "Making money is art, and working is art and good business is the best art."

Warhol didn't want to find a common balance between art and commerce. He just wanted to be rich and famous. Often he would take on certain people and make them pet projects and catapult them into fame. He did just that with Edie Sedgwick and this movie tells that story.

This movie is being marketed as based on true events where a group of friends decide to steal a print of Star Wars Episode 1 from the Skywalker ranch.

It looks really lame.

Its only selling point is Kristen Bell dons the Golden Bikini from Star Wars Return of the Jedi.

Based on the true story of Robert Hanssen a CIA agent who made fools out of both the U.S. government and the Soviets. Hanssen sold U.S. secrets to the Soviets for many years without the Soviets knowing his true identity.

I actually remember when Hanssen was arrested in2001. This story made major headlines and caused a bit of a ripple in the international community. Hanssen's treason has been called one of the worst disasters in U.S. intelligence history.

The Kicker, it was a stripper who helped with the arrest of Hanssen by contacting the authorities with information about Hanssen.

Ryan Phillipe stars as Eric O'Neil the man who eventually caught Hanssen who is played by Chris Cooper.

This looks good.

This is only a teaser for a movie that won't be released for another year and I am already excited. The last time Paul Giamatti was involved with a comedy was in 2003 with the movie paycheck.

Giamatti stars as Santa Clause and Vince Vaughn co-stars as his under achieving brother Fred.

Sounds like an instant classic.

The characters Ben Stiller usually plays tend to be very annoying.

Fortunately for Stiller he does a great job playing them.

In a Night at the Museum Stiller plays a night guard at a Museum where the exhibits come to life during the night. The premise seems interesting enough but it is the fact that Stiller is involved that sells me on the movie.

O.J. Simpson Special Cancelled.

Defamer.com is reporting that Fox has some taste after all.

The Network that specializes on making money off of breaking up relationships, marrying off millionaires, and rebroadcasting police chases has decided to cancel the planned interview with O.J. Simpson because Mr. Rupert Murdoch the chairman of Fox decided it was "ill-considered"

Both the book and the television special have been cancelled and Simpsons supposed confession will never be heard.

Personally, I think this is a bad move on Fox.

Even though the special and the book are being cancelled I am sure Simpson will still be getting a heafty paycheck.
Simpson more likely than signed a pay or play contract that obligates Fox to pay Simpson whether or not the special airs or not.

This really is a new low for Fox.
Even lower than calling Fox News Fair and Balanced

The entire thing just sucks.

I still can't get over the fact hecalled the book"IF I did it"
A better title would have been " How I got away with murder" or " No shit"

I was really surprised that Happy Feet beat out Casino Royale this weekend. Casino Royale had been hailed by critics as a return for Bond and an instant smash. Even though the new Bond flick did excellent business opening with $40 million, it did not take the number one spot. The number one spot went to Warner Brothers Happy Feet. Happy Feet managed to steal the top spot from Bond by $2 million. Over all it seems as though it was a good weekend for Hollywood with two movie grossing over $40 million.

Not a bad pay day.

Borat is still kicking box office ass and is getting closer to the coveted $100 million mark. The film has grossed over $130 million worldwide.

After this thing is done making money Mr. Cohen is going to be able to afford to buy a helicopter to take him to his yacht so that he can sail to his mansion on his own private island just so that he can swim in his pool made out of solid gold.

Guy is going to be rich.

Nothing else on the list is interesting enough to write about.
The Departed is still in the top 10.
Stranger than Fiction is still under performing.
And Lets go to Prison bombed.

Sucks, I really like Bob Odenkirk and I hope he finds success one day.
Just not this past weekend.
