Underground T.V.

It's 2 a.m. you just got home from a long night of drinking and taking pills and instead of falling asleep you turn on the T.V.

Putting a DVD on is usually my first choice but sometimes I know I won't last through an entire full length feature.

So what do I do?

Public Access.

I bring you Public Access at its finest.

Watch the entire video. Trust me. Be patient with it. The pay off at the end is GOLD.

The Show is titled Let's Paint and exercise T.V.

It only gets better.

I need to find out where I can get Frozen Plastics latest cd.

Borat has the Herpes.
There are a ton of people who just can't wait to see this movie.
Myself Included.

To be honest I bought my ticket on the Borat bandwagon about two months ago.

I have never been a fan of Sacha Cohen and his Ali. G. show on Hbo.

Sure its funny but for some reason it rarely made me laugh.

But there is something about this movie that just screams greatness.

I don't know if its the racist jokes or the fact that everyone is taking this movie so seriously.

This to me seems like something Andy Kaufman would do.

Cohen the new Kaufman?

Check out a deleted scence from the upcoming Borat movie.

New Movie Trailers to Check Out.
300

Click on the poster to see the new trailer for 300.

I know I have already posted a trailer for this movie but.....

This one is in Quicktime.

And Quicktime is just so crisp and clear and kickass.

The trailer makes me salivate for this movie.

Blood Diamond

A Blood Diamond is a diamond that is mined and sold for the pure purpose of funding a bloody war.

Think of that next time you slip a ring on a girls finger.

Blood Diamond opens this December and stars Leonardo Dicaprio and Jennifer Connelly.

Leonardo's accent in this trailer really got on my nerves.

Click on any of the posters to watch the trailers.

Some people love Christopher Guest.

Some people hate Christopher Guest.

Some people just don't get him.

Most people don't even know who he is.

NetFlix Tuesday (Wednesday)
Sorry it's late.

I am sure all two of you that read this blog missed it.

X-3

The weakest in the Trilogy but only because Brain Singer left to direct Superman Returns.

And for me it was worth it. Superman was great.

Still though the action is good and the outfits are skin tight.

All in all it’s what a comic book movie should be.

Entertaining.

And for all the fan boys that had issues with it.
Stop complaining you know you are still going to buy this.

Thank you for Smoking

A movie about the worst person in this world.

A tobacco lobbyist.

In Jason Reitman’s full feature directorial debut Aaron Eckhart plays slimy fast talking lobbyist for big tobacco Nick Naylor.

For me the best part of this movie is when the 3 merchants of death, lobbyist from big tobacco, firearms, and alcohol, get together and have drinks after a long day of selling products whose only intent is to kill human beings.

The dialogue was great. The direction was great and even the acting was great.

With the release of the movie My Super Ex- girlfriend Directed by Jason Reitman’s dad Ivan Reitman.

It looks to me as though the torch has been passed.

Point Break

Re-release of a movie you should have already bought.

Edmond

David Mamet’s new movie starring yet again William H. Macy.

I am a huge fan of Mamet’s work.

Even though some people say his dialogue is unrealistic and complicated.

I just watch his movies with the captions on and a dictionary.

Edmond is a movie about New York’s Hellish under world.

Aka.

Drugs and Sex.

Oh and Crime.

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

This movie was made during a period in Guy Ritchie’s life that I like to call Pre-Material girl.

Watching Lock Stock and Two Smoking barrels and Swept Away back to back only proves further

That Madonna is a blood sucking talent draining whore.

In case you missed it.

I really like this movie.

Sorry if it was buried in the subtlety.

Click on the movie title to rent any of these movies.

Please support Netflix. It really is better than cable T.v.

Ghost Rider Movie Poster.

How awesome does this poster look?

I am a huge fan of comic book characters that have a dark side.

Wolverine.

Constantine.

and now Ghost Rider.

My only fear about this movie is its release date.
Bad movies are usually buried during the winter months.

Plus the release date has been pushed back many times.

Plus Nicolas Cage stared in Captain Corelli's Mandolin

There better be some nudity in this movie.

Click on the movie poster above to preview the trailer for Ghost Rider.

Coming Attractions

These are the movies that I think will be worth watching.

Many of them won't be out for some time but I think its best to always be prepared.

Click on the titles to watch the trailers.

Dates and times are all up to you.

Mr WoodCock.

The title has the word Cock in it.

You know the writing is going to be superb throughout this comedy.

Something tells me Billy Bob hasn’t acted in years.

I think he just plays himself.

I’d like to go out drinking with Billy Bob.

I am almost certain we would end up drinking Bourbon on the back of his pickup listening to Hank Williams with a couple toothless girls in daisy dukes.

The Good Shepherd

Looks like the Director of the Good Sheppard Bobby De Niro decided to call everyone on his rolodex to be in this movie.

The movie’s cast reads like a who’s who of Hollywood and the last time De Niro got behind the Camera he made A Bronx tale.

The script was written by Eric Roth, the man behind Forest Gump and most recently Munich.

The Ground Truth

Focus features proudly presents.

Whenever I read that before a movie I am reassured the movie is going to be great.

Kind of like Miramax before Disney ate it up and turned it into crap.

Children of Men

In the future women can’t get pregnant.

Sounds like a bright future to me.

Children of Men, is Direct by Alfonso Cuaron.

He is the reason why I have seen one Harry Potter movie in my 24 years on this earth.

I would watch a snuff film if this man directed it.

The Prestige

First Christopher Nolan redefined storytelling with his backwards storytelling in Memento.

Then he rescued Batman from years of bad gay jokes and even worse acting.

Now he is playing with magic.

I was angry that Nolan was not getting back to work on a new Batman movie right after Batman Begins.

After I saw the trailer to the Prestige I think I can wait another year for the Dark Knight.

Babel

Babel is the Hebrew word for the city of Babylon where the tower of Babylon was said to have been built.

The Tower of Babel was built by mankind when they were united and homogenous.

Everyone spoke the same language and were determined to reach the heavens through their architectural wonder.

God, who decided these men were evil decided to destroy the tower and spread man kind throughout the earth all while changing everyone’s ability to communicate with each other and understand one another.

Good plan.

Babel stars Brad Pitt, Gael Bernal Garcia

and Cate Blanchette

Bable is Directed by Alejandro Gonzales Iñarritu

Borat: Cultural Learning’s of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Reasons as to why this movie is going to be great.

The President of the United States had a meeting with the actual President of Kazakhstan over this movie.

It directed by Larry Charles who has been associated with Television shows such as Seinfeld, The Tick, Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

And well most importantly because the nation of Kazakhstan apparently treats its women like
cattle.

A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints

Coming of age story set in New York.

Yes I know it has been tirelessly been over done.

But watch this anyways.

Does anyone else think Rosario Dawson is one of those actresses’s who looks incredibly hot in some movies and completely dirty in others?

Jesus Camp

I enjoy watching Documentaries with disturbing subject matter.

There is something about a room full of little kids screaming at the top of their lungs that they are Soldiers of God that makes me want to see this movie today.

Once this movie comes out on Dvd I am sure it will make for a great drinking game.

Little Children

From the acclaimed Director of In the Bedroom comes Little Children.

The trailer starts off slow but it insinuates the fact that there is going to be nudity throughout the film.

Marital Infidelity, nudity, and trains.

Sounds like a great movie to me.

Stranger than Fiction

I couldn’t decide whether to see this movie before I saw the Number 23 staring Jim Carrey. You see the Number 23 and Stranger than fiction have very similar plots and story lines and for some reason I told myself that I would only see one of them. This basically is going to be a fight to the death between Jim Carrey and Will Ferrell and the arena will be the battle dome that is located in my head.

Vs.

The Black Dahlia

$2,069,000

$20,683,000

Little Miss Sunshine

$2,020,000

$53,162,000

Open Season topped the box office this past weekend which surprised me. I actually thought this was going to sit at the number 4 spot for the weekend. Another huge surprise is School of Scoundrels. Looks like Todd Phillip’s hot streak is over. School of Scoundrels opened with a pathetic $9 Million.

Jackass: Number Two is still going strong. It has made 6 pain junkies very rich men. I feel I could say with a certain degree of certainty that Jackass 3 will be made and one of them will die.

And with any luck the footage won’t be cut out of the movie.

The biggest tank of the week goes to a movie about airplanes. Flyboy’s has only made $9 Million in two weeks. With a production budget of over $60 Million and a marketing budget of $25-30 Million it seems as though someone at MGM will get fired for green lighting this disaster. Who the hell thought that James Franco could open a big budget movie?

Heads need to roll.

And once again the little engine that could Little Miss Sunshine has managed to stay in the top 10 again this week. Little Miss Sunshine has grossed over $50 Million. Who ever financed this little movie is making the big bucks.

Oh yeah, The Guardian managed to clinch the second spot in this weeks top 10.

I was really rooting for it to be another The Postman for Kevin Costner.
