Here is this week's box office report courtesy of Boxofficemojo.com.  Surprisingly Invincible stayed on top with $12.1 million. My money was on Crank to take the top spot. Apparently people would rather see a sappy football story than a movie staring Turkish. This year’s summer sleeper Little Miss Sunshine is doing better than predicted taking $7 million at the box office this weekend. The entire budget for little Miss Sunshine was $8 million so at this point the producers are just printing their own money. Will Ferrell's NASCAR movie is still in the top 10 with $6 million and the dancing movie step up rounds out the top ten taking in $4 million. |
